On 19 April, The Red Devil Incident's Dom and Mark Lyne attended the World Premiere of Modern Life?'s film Ten Dead Men in Brighton. Dom Lyne has been involved in the film since August 2006 - recieving a Co-Associate Producer credit - and the band's track "Redemption" features in the film's soundtrack.

Back in January 2000, we formed a band called GodEngine, 4 years later it was renamed to The Red Devil Incident, 4 years on the band is still going strong. I think that 8 years working on one project shows our dedication to the music we both write and perform, and to the fans who have followed us along our journey. So at the start of our 8th year, I would like to personally thanks all those who have supported us, thanks, and heres to many more years to come.
In December, Mark, Jorge and I returned to the studio to record some new material which would define RDI at the start of 2008, these tracks are still currently being mixed and will be added to our page over the next few weeks, but I would like to announce that whilst in the studio we recorded a cover of Marilyn Manson's Putting Holes in Happiness as a tribute to an artist who has constantly inspired the band from its conception to the present day, this has been posted below.
Once again, a big thank you to you all and keep your eyes peeled for further additions to our page.

This is the awesome new Sony Walkman commercial which RDI frontman Dom Lyne was part of. Dom was one of the 128 musicians involved. Look carefully and you'll see him - albeit briefly - he's the drummer on the snare wearing a black cap and t-shirt. More information can be found at www.walkmanproject.com.
So I turn on the news this afternoon and here Condolezza Rice bleating on about how Iran are pursuing technologies "that can lead to a nuclear weapon", building ballistic missiles, and spurning peace talks.
A few points popped into my head namely the word 'hypocrites. Lets see:
Pursuing technologies "that can lead to a nuclear weapon" - yet it's okay for the US to have nuclear weapons, forgive me if I'm wrong but they still remain the only country to have used them in war and without remorse - to me that makes them the bigger threat.
Building ballistic missiles - as much as I hate war, it still remains every countries right to build weapons with which to defend itself.
Spurning peace talks - and so because the US doesn't get its way it enforces sanctions and threatens with military action, that to me sounds like a disrespect towards peace talks. Peace talks are meant to be mutual, not 'if you don't agree to our terms then we'll bully you into agreeing.'
So this is 'democracy'? If you don't agree with us, we'll make sure you do by force. Once again, hypocrites.
The Red Devil Incident's frontman Dom Lyne spent three days this week being filmed as part of a new Sony Walkman commercial . It's going to be an awesome commercial when it is totally finished.
The commercial is due to come out later in the year.
